These durable natural polypropylene (PP) carboys feature a convenient wide-mouth opening to promote ease of cleaning and dispensing. The wide-shoulder handles enable easy carrying and pouring, even with gloved hands.

Applications
Cylindrical carboys, typically constructed from thick-walled polycarbonate or polypropylene for durability and safety, are commonly used to store, mix and dispense bulk solvents, buffers, reagents, liquids and powders. Carboys are also excellent for long-term storage, as well as for refrigerated or frozen storage of aqueous solutions. Available in a variety of sizes, Thermo Scientific™ Nalgene™ cylindrical carboys may have a wide mouth for solids and powders, or a molded-in spigot, which provides strength and leak resistance in addition to providing an easy dispensing option. Cylindrical carboys also generally have molded-in graduations for easier measuring.
