Thermo Scientific™ Nalgene™ Polypropylene, Heavy-Duty Vacuum Carboy with Handle, 20L
Ideal for the most extreme service conditions, the Thermo Scientific™ Nalgene™ Polypropylene Heavy Duty Vacuum Carboy is useful as a vacuum trap and will hold a full vacuum up to eight hours. Constructed of thick-walled natural polypropylene to provide added strength, it is supplied with white 83B PP closure with TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) gasket. Customization options available for fluid transfer applications. Fit perfectly with a variety of optional 83B closures with standard tubing sets (such as Nalgene™ Top Works™, Nalgene™ Filling/Venting) and custom tubing set designs

Applications
Cylindrical carboys, typically constructed from thick-walled polycarbonate or polypropylene for durability and safety, are commonly used to store, mix and dispense bulk solvents, buffers, reagents, liquids and powders. Carboys are also excellent for long-term storage, as well as for refrigerated or frozen storage of aqueous solutions. Available in a variety of sizes, Thermo Scientific™ Nalgene™ cylindrical carboys may have a wide mouth for solids and powders, or a molded-in spigot, which provides strength and leak resistance in addition to providing an easy dispensing option. Cylindrical carboys also generally have molded-in graduations for easier measuring.
